One of the co-founders of Eye Associates of New York, John Rocco Robilotto, OD, PhD, FAAO, offers cutting-edge care for all types of vision and eye health ailments. Dr. Robilotto also co-founded the Center for Ophthalmic and Vision Research, which allows him to combine his passion for patient-centered clinical care with advanced eye care research throughout Midtown East, New York City and beyond.

After completing his PhD in vision science through Cornell University and State University of New York (SUNY), Dr. Robilotto earned his doctor of optometry degree from the SUNY College of Optometry. As a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, Dr. Robliotto stays up-to-date with the latest diagnostic and treatment solutions available in the industry.

With his expertise and extensive training in eye care, Dr. Robilotto uses advanced methods and techniques to diagnose the most complex of issues. He can help correct a patient’s vision even if they have chronic conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, age-related macular degeneration, and retinal disorders, to name a few.

When he’s away from the practice, Dr. Robilotto strives to serve the underserved as much as possible. He’s the co-president of the Northeast chapter of the Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH).

Dr. Robliotto has participated in over 20 humanitarian medical missions throughout Central America, Asia, and the Middle East. He even established a mobile eye care clinic in Alaska, which allows him to spend several weeks each year caring for underserved Native Alaskan communities.
